Here are some links to some other pages of interest in the general topic area of educational reform.  These sites have some good things that are interesting and certainly make you think.  I don't endorse any of them necessarily, but I think they are all worth a look.

David Warlick's Hack the System Wiki page - This is one page (a very interesting one) in a larger wiki that has a lot of good material.  It's well worth examining.  Thanks to Wes Fryer for alterting me to this site on his blog.

Wes Fryer's Blog - Wes is a dynamic young graduate student (PhD candidate) at Texas Tech University.  I have attended his presentations on podcasting and have found his blog to be very well-done and a wealth of information for those interested particularly in K-12 education and technology.

21st Century Skills - Here's an excellent website that outlines the competencies (i.e. "basic skills") needed in the 21st century.

Mark Prensky's Website - If you have never heard Mark Prensky speak, check out his site and listen to some of his speeches.  Most of his writings are there also.  He is probably the premier evangelist of the Digital Native idea (in fact, he coined the term) and if you want to understand today's students, you need to read some of his ideas.

Professor Geek - This is my laid back site where I discuss all things technical.  It doesn't focus on educational matters, but if you are just interested in personal computing, research, and that kind of thing, you may find it interesting.  I started it about the same time I started this, so it is also a work in progress.

Thinkature - This is a cool online tool for collaboration (either asynchronous or synchronous).  It has drawing tools, a whiteboard, a chat, and mic support built in.  Right now it is free to set up an account and invite others into your workspace.
